FIRSTIER BANK NAMES NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

BROOMFIELD, CO – May 14, 2026 – FirsTier Bank, a community bank with locations throughout Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming, announced today that it has named Joshua Ellis as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ellis will oversee budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, interest rate risk modeling and investment strategy for the bank.

Ellis joins FirsTier Bank with over 15 years of progressive banking experience, most recently as CFO of R Bank in Round Rock, TX. Prior to his position with R Bank, he was the Controller at ANB Bank in Denver and held various accounting and finance roles with ANB Bank.

Ellis holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a MS in Accounting from Kaplan University. Ellis succeeds Dennis Santistevan who is retiring after having served as CFO for five years.
